Nola: The People and Places

As promised, here are the pictures that I had told you I would post tonight. Enjoy!

This is the St. Louis Cathedral in Jackson Square. It is quite possibly the most beautiful church ever. I love taking pictures of it ever time I visit.

The famous Bourbon St. Sorry, The picture does it no justice. But then again, the street isn't that cool. Just a lot of bars, stripclubs, and drunks. Yay.

A street musician. He was incredible, even if he was just using old buckets.

The New Orleans wedding parade/march/thing. I LOVE it! It was my first time seeing it and now I totally want to have a New Orleans wedding. After the wedding, everyone has these umbrellas, and they have a "parade" throughout the quarter. Basically, the entire wedding party and attendees walk through the streets. I'm pretty sure that they do this for funerals too.

This was a girl that was in the wedding parade. I LOVED her little vintage number. It was so flowy. Very hippie/prairie like.

I love this woman's outfit. Its so simple but so chic. It seemed like everyone was wearing these little straw fedoras. I loved them, but I went with only 10 bucks, so getting one wasn't in the cards for me.

All I can say is that I love these guys. They were so cute.

These little birds hanging up in Jackson Square were my favorite. They were just so aborable. I actually painted one last night on my own, just because I didn't have $40 to buy one in Nola.

It was St. Patty's day in Nola.

Well, that is all that I have for you. I hope you enjoyed them!

Goodnight birdies,

Looks like you had a fun time in NOLA. And is that a stroller I see being pushed down Bourbon? I'm always amazed when people bring their kids to that seedy street.
