Emerald City

Hello lovely ladies! I hope that you all are having a spectacular weekend, I know I am! I woke up this morning to find out that I've won my very first blogger's award! I am so excited about that and I will post on that tonight along with a new outfit post.


So, here recently, I've come to develop quite an obsession with knee length or longer skirts. I'm aware that most people my age wouldn't wear something like this, as it's a little "grandma", but I don't care. I love them. Modesty is the best policy, right?










I found this emerald color skirt, the shoes, and this purse at Goodwill. I have had the best luck their my past few trips. I've got some really great things. I just love that place. If you have one near you and have never been, I strongly urge you to. You'll be happy that you did.



I did a post a few weeks ago on crackle polish, but I never got around to posting pictures. Well, here's the finished product. I must say, at first I wasn't too fond of the outcome, but I've grown to like it. I think the trick is to find the right base color. It makes all the difference.
