Iron and Lace

My intentions today were not to take pictures on the railroad in front of my house, but my intentions failed me. While I do like the railroad and I think that it is a lovely spot to have a shoot, I didn't want to take pictures there twice in one week. But for today, it was all that I could manage. At least this time the lighting was still pretty good, so I have more than a few pictures to share with you!
I think that it was probably not such a great idea to go out and take pictures, though. As a result of this, I now have a cold! Grrr. Oh, the pain and torture!
Dress-Rue 21 $1 Tights-JCP $5 Bird Ring-F21 $2 Bug Ring and Necklace-Gifts from my manfriend Shoes-Thrifted $3 Belt-Thrifted $1 Sweater-F21 $15 Total Look-$27

As sad as this may be, I probably won't be back for a few days. School starts back up tomorrow for the spring semester. Yay. I'm most certainly not looking forward to this. Both the school and the not posting. I should be back either Tuesday or Thursday. I'm so sorry my lovelies!

Until next time,

I wouldn't be able to resist taking pictures there, either. It's a perfect location! Great lighting, too. Thanks for the blog comment!

Feathers-Thankyou! it really is a great place! But trains pass by all of the time so every time i hear a sound I jump away thinking it is one.

TFT-Thankyou as well! I got them from Goodwill. That place owns my heart! For the most part, clearance is all that I shop! I hate paying full price for anything.

Thanks for your comment on my blog! I LOVE the dress in your blog's banner. (Birds!) Isn't it so frustrating about H & M not letting the US buy online?! It's probably better that they don't or I'd spend all of my money there! lol. I really, genuinely like your blog! I love every post I've seen so far! I'm definitely following you and putting you in my "recommended reading." Thanks for the inspiration!

this is a really beautiful setting but isn't it kind of dangerous to shoot on a railroad?

it is a bit dangerous, I assume. But trainsonly pass on this particular track in the early morning and in the afternoon.
It had just passed a few minutes before I got on it, actually.
Thank you all, lovers!

This dress is fantastic and together with that gorgeous pendant and the cute little rings.....the outfit could not have been more perfect. I don;t even know how to start admiring the location you chose for the photos, other than the fact that I am desperately wishing a rail road to materialize in the middle of Toronto, so that I can take photos like this.

Look forward to hearing from you
